Friday Post - March 3, 2017 - Javascript

RESEARCH

1. Tell me about the origin of Javascript.

Javascript, created in 10 days by Brendan Eich a little over 20 years ago, during May of 1995. Originally called "Mocha", it first began working at Netscape, and then Mozilla. After a few months, in September, the name was changed to "LiveScript", and then, going back to the coffee theme, it was changed to "JavaScript" in December due to a trademark license from Sun.

2. I envision a peaceful scene. It is a of a sailboat on a lake. There is an island in the distance and a seagull in the sky. Looks like there are fish in the water. The sun is shining but slightly obscured by a cloud. The name on the boat is "UNRULY".
